Manchester Township Educational Foundation

May 2012

MTEF is embarking on a campaign to help provide wireless internet connectivity at all of Manchester's public schools.  We recently donated $25,000 to the Manchester Township School District for the project and have set a goal of raising an additional $25,000 to bring the total to $50,000.

March 2013
Dr. Donna Malloy of EyesFirst Vision in Manchester. sponsored an MTEF Classroom Mini-Grant for a cooperative project pairing Regional Day students with third graders from MTES to make wooden eyeglass holders in the RDS shop. The $470 grant was awarded to Jeffrey Bishop, Industrial Arts teacher at Regional Day School, to provide walnut boards for the project.

January 2013
The Manchester Township Educational Foundation presented our 2012-13 MTEF Classroom Mini-Grants at the January BOE meeting.  A record 19 grants totaling nearly $9,000 will be awarded this year, a record for the program.

Help us cover the MTHS track with a mile of quarters to benefit the MTEF Cpl. Nicholas S. Ott Memorial Fund.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and golfers, we raised over $19,000 at our 4th Annual Golf Outing.

Manchester Township Educational Foundation (MTEF) is pleased to announce that six scholarship awards totaling $13,500 were presented to Manchester Township High School graduates at Senior Awards Night on May 31.

January 2012
MP3 Players, iPads, VReaders, a Demonstration Camera, Pre-School Math materials, and funding for an Anti-Bullying program at the high school were among the items provided to the school district this year by the MTEF.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Fall Raffle.  It was our most successful to date, with $1,940 going to MTEF and $1,940 to our winner, Dorothy P. of West Creek.

MTEF presented four scholarship awards to Manchester Twp. High School graduates, Richard Evan Jones,  Jillian DeSimone, Emily Claus and Kendal Parliament at Senior Awards Night on June 2, 2011.

Our third annual Golf Outing on May 16 at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood was MTEF's most successful event to date thanks to the generous support of local businesses, community organizations, donors, golfers and volunteers. More than $15,000 was raised at the event.

The MTEF presented over $4.400 in teacher mini-grants and $5,970 in technology equipment to the district at the January 2011 Board of Education meeting.
